November 11, 2022 Zaid ibn Ismail. Surah Fath is the 48th chapter of the Quran. It was revealed in Madinah before the conquest of Makkah. The title of the surah, "Victory", refers to the victory of the Muslims over the Meccans at the Treaty of Hudaibiyah, although no fighting was to take place. The surah has 29 verses. Surah Al-Fath 48:1-10 [1/4] (For further explanation. see(E.N.2 of Surah Al- Anfal )and (E.N. 38 of Surah Al-Ahzab). 8. It means this: Allah has such hosts by which He can destroy and exterminate the disbelievers completely whenever He wills, but He has deliberately and by wisdom only placed this responsibility on the believers that they Al-Fath (Arabic: الفتح, al-fatḥ; meaning: "Victory" , "Triumph") is the 48th chapter of the Qur'an with 29 verses . The surah was revealed in Madinah in the sixth year of the Hijrah , on the occasion of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah between the Muslim city-state of Madinah and Makkan polytheists.
